WILLPOWER = Stun track, drain/fading resist, spell defense sometimes and gets added to full matrix defense actions. Never used for defensive tests, but it's a mainstay of GMs trying to get you to roll 'kicking down doors', 'tossing dwarves' and such-like. Doesn't govern much and is basically just a damage value for melee and unarmed. The reason I suggest this is it lets you tank attributes a bit on the priority list.Ĭhoose the amount of cash you NEED for the character, and no more. Strongly consider an elf for the extra +3 attributes at creation (3 CHA, 2 AGI), and they have no real downsides outside of RP. Don't be afraid to play a human, they're often best at most things. Edge is very useful, but the merits of an edge build or partial-edge build are probably lost on new players.
